Atragerea copiilor in procesul invatarii – sau arta de a fi profesor

Multi copii care ajung in grupele noastre de invatare a limbii engleze si germane au nevoie sa fie luati putin diferit pentru a fi atrasi in procesul invatarii. Este in parte si arta profesorului la clasa sa descopere si sa ‘manuiasca’ cele mai bune tehnici care sa ii faca pe copii sa se concentreze si sa isi doreasca sa invete.

Profesorii din Britanica sunt dedicati sa paseasca tot mai departe pe calea stapanirii acestei arte iar noi ii sustinem cu cursuri de pregatire, sesiuni de mentorat si training, observari si feedback la orele predate.

Un concept de baza este a lua copilul de acolo de unde se afla, sa ii arati ca esti interesat de ceea ce are nevoie si sa incerci sa integrezi acea nevoie in procesul predarii. Uneori e greu sa obtii acces la universul interior plin de emotii si nevoi nenumite ale copilului. Alte ori, o simpla intrebare pusa cu multa grija si real interes poate sa fie destul.


Many children that we find in our classes need a specific approach in order to be attracted to the process of learning. It’s in the art of teaching to find out which are the best techniques that will capture their attention and will to learn. 

The teachers in Britanica are seriously engaged on the path of mastering this art. We give them support with training and mentoring sessions and a lot of observations and feedback on their teaching.  

A basic concept is to start from where the child is, to show interest in what they really need and to try to accomodate that need in the learning. Sometimes it’s difficult to get access to your students’ personal world of emotions and untold needs. Other times, a simple question asked with real curiosity and care is enough.
